EPP consultants are certified PROSCI practitioners, and we follow the PROSCI methods for assessing, implementing, and managing change, including the ADKAR model – Awareness-Desire-Knowledge-Ability-Reinforcement.

Change is a process.
Various steps need to be taken when managing change, and people are a significant part of the process. Our consultants can assist with coaching your team through processes that will guide the transition to the new state. We support organizational initiatives by assessing change impacts, identifying risks, and taking steps to minimize resistance and maximize employee readiness.

Change introduces something new.
Everyone functions well within an established routine; over time we develop work patterns that help us feel productive and efficient. When change is introduced, it can produce feelings of inefficiency, starting over with new tools or a new environment. But, businesses cannot stay competitive unless they embrace new methods or technologies.

Change should be inclusive.
People are the center of change, and a successful adoption can depend on their participation. Preparing your employees for impending changes by maximizing engagement will go a long way toward acceptance and improve your chances of minimizing disruption and maintaining productivity.

Change that is thrust upon us is often not welcome because it disturbs our comfort zone and takes away our sense of control. Even when we elect to make a change, we still experience emotions like anxiety and fear, as we are navigating new territory. But evolution presents opportunities for growth, advantages, new capabilities, and more.
